Step 1: Review Program and Application Requirements
Before you begin your graduate application to Georgia Tech, please make sure to read the application instructions carefully. Although you will be able to add some materials after you have submitted your application, you will not be able to make revisions once it has been submitted.
Deadlines vary by program. Be sure to confirm the deadline of your intended program of study to ensure that you apply on time.
While Tech has Institute-level requirements, many graduate programs require additional qualifications and materials for the application.
Before you begin the application process, visit your intended graduate program of study webpage for program-specific admission requirements such as application deadlines, early deadlines for assistantships, fellowships and awards, test score minimums, statement of purpose, and portfolio.
Questions about application requirements should be directed to your program of interest. Visit Degree Programs to find contacts and other helpful information.

Step 2: Country-Specific Qualifications and English Proficiency
If you completed any part of your education outside of the United States, review the country-specific guidelines to determine the minimum qualifications needed to be eligible for admission to a Georgia Tech graduate program.
The Office of Graduate Education has partnered with three credential evaluation services to expedite the verification and evaluation process for our applicants who have attended an institution outside of the United States.
English Translation for Academic Documents
If you attended an institution outside of the United States and the academic documents are not in English, we require you to upload an English translation issued by the college or university in addition to the native language documents. If your institution does not provide documents in English, you can use an official translation agency. Be sure to order a word for word translation of your documents.
Proof of English Language Proficiency
Georgia Tech requires that all applicants provide proof of English language proficiency at the time of application. Learn more about the ways this requirement can be satisfied on the English Proficiency page.
