CRIDC Poster Competition

Thursday, February 6 | Exhibition Hall | 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Poster competitions give graduate students an opportunity to practice and improve their communication skills. Participants in the competitions will present their research posters to a non-technical audience. Winners will receive travel grants, ranging in value from $1,000-$2,000, that can be used to cover expenses related to research trips or travel to other conferences (domestic or international). 

In-Person Poster Competition

  1. Posters & presentations should be appropriate for a non-specialist audience.
  2. Posters size requirements: 36” wide and 48” tall (vertical format)
  3. Competition guidelines, resources, and judging criteria

Quadrant-i's Innovation Competition

Can you explain how your research might lead to an innovative, impactful product or service? If so, apply for the CRIDC 2025 Innovation Competition, sponsored by Quadrant-i of Georgia Tech’s Office of Commercialization.

The Innovation Competition is open to students participating in the CRIDC Poster Competition. If you opt in, you’ll be visited during the competition by a Quadrant-i Principal to discuss potential applications, markets, and customers for your work.

The winner will receive a $2000 prize and an invitation to participate in Startup Launch, a summer program providing commercialization training, support, and funding to GT research teams. These teams will receive $10,000 to spend developing their innovations during FY’26. Two runners-up will each receive $1000 prizes.

Must be registered for the CRIDC poster competition to be eligible for the Innovation Competition. Complete the registration form (insert link) to participate. A Quandrant – i team member will contact you with details.

Previous winners are welcome to participate but are not eligible for a prize.
